Byteberry Analytics (“Byteberry”, “we”, “us”) is a digital growth, data and AI agency. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it and the rights you have. It applies to this website, to the services we deliver to our clients and to the software tools we operate, including our internal advertising-management tooling and the ChatPix application for Shopify.

1. Who we are

Byteberry Analytics is based in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and acts as data controller for the data described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@byteberry-analytics.com for any question about your data.

2. Data we collect

  • Contact data you send us through our forms, by email or by phone: name, company, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
  • Website usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies: pages viewed, device and browser information, approximate location and referral source. Analytics and advertising cookies are only set with your consent where the law requires it.
  • Client platform data that our clients authorise us to access in order to deliver our services: advertising accounts, analytics properties, product catalogues, conversion data and e-commerce order data from platforms such as Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Merchant Center, Meta, Microsoft Advertising and Shopify.

3. How we use data

  • To answer your requests and manage our commercial relationship.
  • To plan, create, manage, measure and report on advertising campaigns on behalf of the clients who have authorised us.
  • To synchronise product catalogues and send conversion events to advertising and analytics platforms on behalf of those clients.
  • To secure, maintain and improve our website and tools.
  • To comply with our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use client platform data to build advertising profiles for anyone other than the client who owns that data, and we do not use it to train artificial-intelligence models.

4. Google user data

Some of our tools connect to Google services through Google APIs after the account owner has signed in with Google and granted access. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In practice:

  • We only access the Google Ads, Google Analytics and Merchant Center data of the accounts that the owner has explicitly linked.
  • That data is used solely to provide and improve the service requested by that account owner: campaign management, reporting and conversion measurement.
  • It is not transferred to third parties except as necessary to provide the service, to comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition with notice to the user.
  • Humans at Byteberry only read this data with the account owner's consent, for security purposes, to comply with the law, or when the data has been aggregated and anonymised.
  • Access can be revoked at any time from the Google account security settings, and we delete the related tokens and cached data on request.

5. Sharing and processors

We rely on trusted providers to host and operate our services: Google Cloud, Vercel, Webflow and the advertising and analytics platforms named above. Each processes data under our instructions and its own security commitments. Data may be processed outside your country of residence; where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

6. Retention

Contact data is kept for the duration of our relationship and up to three years after our last exchange. Client platform data and access tokens are kept for the duration of the client contract and deleted within 30 days of its end or of a deletion request. Technical logs are kept for up to 13 months.

7. Security

Access tokens and secrets are stored encrypted, access is restricted to authorised staff, and connections to all platforms use encrypted channels. We review access rights regularly and revoke them when they are no longer needed.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise these rights, write to hello@byteberry-analytics.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority of your country.

9. Cookies

This website uses strictly necessary cookies and, with your consent, analytics and advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time through your browser settings or the consent banner where it is displayed.

10. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services or in the law. The date at the top of this page indicates the latest version. Significant changes will be announced on this website.
